Unsigned Emcee Makes Dent on NYC Music Scene

Jan. 4, 2012 - PRLog -- Rising star and unsigned rapper BLAX rings in the New Year off the heels of a breakthrough 2011.  After only one year in the Big Apple, the Milwaukee native has quickly established himself as a true talent and force in the New York City hip hop scene.

The Brooklyn-resident is fresh off a highly-visible and accomplished year.  In addition to releasing two fan-favorite mixtapes - The Blaxploitation Part I & II - BLAX, formerly referred to as Adebisi, received a complimentary review from former music executive and tastemaker Jeff Sledge on the respected allindstrom.com.

Adding to his momentum, BLAX was selected by allhiphop.com as one of the "Top 25 Unsigned Artists of 2011".  "Being recognized by industry mainstays Jeff Sledge and allhiphop.com means that all the work I've put into my career is paying off," stated BLAX. "People are starting to take notice and it's truly humbling."
