Mendelsohn Thomas cites "We couldn't have done it without the help of the local community, Petco, Petsmart and a variety of car dealerships who donated vehicles to fill." Wisconsin Pet Care advertised on Facebook, on air, and in local newspapers about the drive as well as provided shoppers with a shopping list of what the shelters were seeking. Lori Mendelsohn Thomas, the owner of Wisconsin Pet Care attributes the success to the community coming forward with their generous donations.
