It’s the second Starbucks at sea, and was opened aboard Oasis of the Seas on Saturday, November 12, 2011. The first ever Starbucks was opened on sister-ship 5 Allure of the Seas (launched in December 2010).
Both of the Starbucks are fully licensed stores and are open between 7am to 11pm every day. Offering the coffee company’s menu of regular and seasonal beverages prepared by trained baristas, food and Starbucks VIA Ready Brew products are available too. Prices are not included in the cruise fare.
Mal Barritt, director of Cruise118 – part of the world’s leading cruise company – says “Starbucks was a huge hit with Royal Caribbean guests the first time round– and is sure to be as much of a success aboard Oasis of the Seas. The Starbucks on-board these two Royal Caribbean ships certainly enhances the contemporary cruising experience that Royal Caribbean has to offer.”
Starbucks are said to be very excited to provide the ‘Starbucks experience’ to guests aboard the Oasis of the Seas after seeing thousands of customers per week enjoying Starbuck beverages aboard Allure of the Seas.
The world’s largest cruise ship, Oasis of the Seas has other fabulous facilities to offer her guests, including seven distinct neighbourhoods such as Central Park, the first park ever at sea with over 12,000 live plants. The ship’s also home to the very first carousel at sea, an AquaTheater, a zipline, rockwalls, on-board surf simulators, a state of the art gym and spa.
