Laying a Foundation for Life at Local Church

Jan. 4, 2012 - PRLog -- Following the runaway success of their meetings last year, Christian Outreach Centre Heybridge are to begin another Wednesday night book study starting on Wednesday 4th January 2012 at 7.30pm looking into the foundations of the Christian faith. Using Derek Prince’s ‘Foundations for Christian Living’ as the basis, the sessions promise to use fun, games and laughter to explore the basic tenets of Christianity.

Ben Lloyd, who will be helping lead the course said, “Often people look at church and wonder what on earth happens in there on a Sunday. These sessions give people a chance to find out for themselves in a non-threatening, unpressurised atmosphere. We will be using fun, games and most importantly, laughter to show that church isn’t about rules and regulations, but relationship and shared experience.”

The Foundations of Christian Living sessions are completely free and open to anyone regardless of faith or background and provide the opportunity for a frank exchange of thoughts and experiences.”

Written by renowned Bible scholar Derek Prince, “The Foundations for Christian Living” is widely regarded as one of the best books to address the basic principles of Christianity and is recommended for those with any level of experience. The course will be running every Wednesday night for the next year at the Church building on Broad Street Green in Heybridge.
