Jan. 2, 2012 - PRLog -- With London bracing itself for the Olympics and the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, 2012 could be one of the best years to get into photography.

The Culture Club Photography Workshops are inviting those interested in taking up a new hobby to sign up for one of their Winter Series photowalks as an alternative way to learn the craft.

The sessions take place on Saturdays in Notting Hill, and within four hours, beginners will discover how to compose shots and learn the  technical side of using an SLR camera, before hitting the backroads of the famous West London area to put their new skills into practice.

TCCPW founder Matilda Egere-Cooper said: "SLR cameras are becoming more  affordable nowadays, but they can be tricky to use.  We give people the opportunity to learn how to use their cameras so they can take brilliant pictures - and it's a skill that can come in handy on holiday, at socials or even at work."

For a limited time, the photowalks are being offered at £50 - and places can be booked online at  http://cultureclubphotographyworkshop3-eorg.eventbrite.com.

The next events in the Winter Series will be held on February 11th, March 3rd and March 17th.
