By: Be Empowered, LLC Global Women International recommends and will be using the book as a guide in helping women learn how to take back control of their life and begin living happy, healthy, wealthy and productive lives. The global statistics for woman living in poverty is 70%; women who are illiterate is 67%; and women's working hour income is 10% based on a study of woman around the world fighting to change their lifestyle. Salima Marriotte, organization's president says in reading Dr. Olatunde's book 'she has addressed a key point that makes these statistics a reality for women, and that is lack of self esteem and self worth. Building self esteem and self worth will be our initiative for 2012 the Year of the Empowered Woman'. Njideka accepts with honor and humbleness this award as a confirmation in fulfilling her dream and life passion of helping woman overcome the one thing that is holding them back, low self esteem and self worth. According to Njideka, woman every day around the world are suffering with an “untalked about” or even medically recognized emotional health syndrome LSE (Low Self Esteem) and LSW (Low Self Worth). “I want to bring awareness to women worldwide about how we can overcome this health syndrome and live meaningful and happy lives even in an unhappy world,” she said, thus giving a basis for her writing the book. She argued that because this is an emotional health problem that is not being discussed as it relates to adults, and more so specifically women, there is not enough information out there to address the issue for women who are the caretakers of the children suffering with self-esteem problems. In a mental health research study on low self esteem it was found to affect 85% of the world population, with the largest percentage being women in the baby boomer generation 45+ women worldwide the percentage is 50% . In writing this book Dr. Olatunde, knows first hand about suffering with low self esteem and how to over come it. In sharing her experiences the highs and the lows in her book is what gives meaning and purpose to her life. 'In receiving this honor will allow me through my book to help as many women as I can learn how to how to solve their biggest problems relating to family, money, careers, relationships, health and wellness, so they can live happy, fulfilling and joyful lives,” explained Njideka.
