Denison Witmer lives and records in Philadelphia, Pa. He has been recording and performing for almost a decade since being discovered by Don Peris, producer and guitarist for Innocence Mission. Denison Witmer may be known for his songs and life in Philadelphia, but he first was native to Lancaster. His music is often likened to 1970s singers/songwriters such as Cat Stevens and Nick Drake.
Denison's shows are known for being intimate and beautiful. "College Music Journal" described him by saying, "[His] gentle guitar and soothing voice are deceptively powerful, enough to put even the most jaded indie rockers in touch with their inner James Taylor."
Denison, a Lancaster Mennonite Graduate, plays prodigal son to to his hometown to play a free and intimate concert, in the harmonious setting of the ‘Community Room on Prince’ (located on the third floor above Prince Street Coffee at 19 N Prince Street Lancaster Pennsylvania 17603). The venue with it’s definitive large living room ambiance, will be as complimentary as it serves to backdrop Denison Witmer’s singer/songwriter storyteller style
Matt Wheeler is a Lancaster based musician, who is known for his live shows that feature his unique heartfelt delivery and light humor.
