Press Release: Merger of Modeling & Talent Agency & Independent Record Label

Is Washington, DC more than just the Nation's Capitol?  Of course it is and soon it will be an entertainment capital as well. At least if modeling and talent agency, Zobe, and independent record label, New Nation Entertainment, has anything to do with it!  January 2011 marked the beginning of a journey for two entertainment businesses as they joined forces to become a one-stop-shop for the fashion, modeling, music, entertainment, and media industry in the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia area), the nation, and beyond! A lot has been accomplished between these two companies within the past year and now going into January of 2012 these two businesses are preparing for more growth, expansion, and further success within the industry.

What is Zobe You Ask?

Zobe Fashions, Models, & Talents is a major force within the entertainment industry that has grown over its 10 years being in existence.  Zobe (pronounced: Z-O-B-A-Y) is comprised of a modeling agency concentrating on every facet of the modeling, fashion, music, entertainment, and media industry. Specializing in print, runway, editorial, commercial, catalog, glamor, parts, music video, and promotional modeling Zobe is on the rise to the top of the industry.

Zobe is also comprised of a talent agency based around actors/actresses, vocalists, poets, DJ, comedians, musical recording artists, musicians, and more. In January 2011 Zobe merged an already existing independent record label (New Nation Entertainment) based out of Virginia under our umbrella. Zobe is now capable of providing music production/producers, voice-overs, A/V Techs, music mastering, CD duplication/printing, online distribution, and publishing.

Another division of Zobe is comprised of a promotions agency with a concentration on nightclub promotions, event/party promotions, convention/expo promotions, and specific client company promotions/marketing/advertisement being able to market a company’s service or product with ease.

The next division of Zobe is a well recognized and respected fashion clothing line entitled “Zobe Fashion Designs” in which has been featured in many runway productions including: Prince George's Classics, Funk Master Flex Celebrity Car/Bike Show, NY Fashion Week, DC Fashion Week, NY Urban Fashion Week, was selected as a candidate for International Designer of the Year 2005 by a national magazine publication, and was featured in Urban Fashion Week Worldwide (DC) as well as DC Urban Fashion Week. Zobe also successfully completed the co-production of America's Fashion Week. 2012 will mark the release of a new fashion design collection by Zobe so stay tuned.

Not too long ago Zobe began the production for Zobe TV Network and Zobe began broadcasting Zobe TV Network online internationally. Up until now, Zobe has expanded Zobe TV Network to hundreds of thousands of viewers from all over the world and soon to be millions internationally while growing production crew and staff internally. Zobe recently began production of the hot new reality TV series: "Show-Stoppers: In The Life Of The Grind" brought to you by Zobe TV Network. For 2012 Zobe TV Network has set goals to push viewer ratings into the millions.

Zobe TV Network is the new fashion and entertainment industry network online brought to you by Zobe Fashions, Models, & Talents (www.ZobeModelsAndTalents.com). This visual broadcast is viewed by hundreds of thousands every month and soon to be viewed by millions. Zobe TV is a programming network that will bring you the best comedy, music videos, independent news, community information, independent film, and much more. Zobe TV will be used to push the independent community forward, taking advantage of the hundreds of thousands of monthly visits to the Zobe TV Site each month. Zobe TV is not only for entertainment for our viewers but to also educate them on the entertainment, fashion, music, and modeling industry and the various professions within it.

Zobe is currently in production for the official release of Zobe Magazine coming soon in print, however, currently found online.  Zobe Magazine will be a new national publication that will prove to take the industry by storm. Being supported by some of the industry's finest and touching on every facet of the entertainment industry as a whole. Within this necessity to the industry insider and self help guide to the industry outsider you will find everything you may want in a lifestyle magazine publication: beauty, celebrities, hair, make-up, acting, modeling, music, health/fitness, business/entrepreneurial, fashion, and more! The purpose behind the publication is to educate and teach those who do not know the information they need to about the industry. The nation is definitely in for a treat!

Zobe internationally holds about 300 models and talents within its database being represented under the agency. However not limited to this, Zobe has access to thousands of models and talents within the industry. Zobe has a strong staff of less than 20 professional individuals on an executive level who assist the company to run and grow at an extraordinary rate. Zobe models, talents, and fashions have been on local and national television, in music videos, in film/movies, on many runways internationally, hosting various events, and more.

What is New Nation Entertainment (NNE)?

New Nation Entertainment is a local D.M.V. (Washington DC-Maryland-Virginia area) independent entertainment company. Started in 2006, with the passion for music and a promise to some old friends Joshua Payne established the company that would continue to grow over the years. To start off 2011 New Nation brought in the New Year and what a new year it was. Shortly after, Alonzo Black and Joshua Payne started to talk about more serious business with one another. Prior to then they had been discussing certain things but nothing official. This is when they felt that it was time for New Nation Entertainment and Zobe Models and Talents to join forces, with Joshua signing to Zobe as Zobe’s, “Entertainment Executive.” He would now be the person in charge of the whole entertainment portion of Zobe Models and Talents and work a long side Alonzo Black the CEO to make sure all forms of entertainment were handled professionally with this merger. With the newly launching Zobe Magazine and Zobe Television Network among other entities both from New Nation as well as Zobe Models and Talents it looks like 2011 and the future will be just something everyone will have to pay close attention to, for with the alliance of these companies, they are now stronger and more passionate than ever.
