The Warrenton-based full-service printer is one of the first in the Greater Washington D.C. market to acquire a Xerox 770 Digital Color Press. Besides handling everyday print work, the 770 can print on stocks up to 110-pound cover, and offers a variety of automated finishing options, such as saddle-stitched publications. Of course, the digital technology means that jobs such as direct-mail postcards can be printed, personalized and addressed based on a customer’s own data.
Added features such as an Automated Color Quality Suite, which ensures consistent color quality from a job’s first piece to its last and even from job to job, as well as an output of 70 pages per minute mean that the new press will deliver unmatched quality to Piedmont Press & Graphics’ customers at even more competitive prices.
