Morlin Hospitality Group acquires site for first planned hotel in the City of Coconut Creek.
Coconut Creek, FL-December 27, 2011-Morlin Hospitality has acquired a 2.5 acre site to build a limited-service “flag” hotel in Coconut Creek, the first in the city. The hotel will be a 5-7 story, 107 rooms, close to the intersection of the Sawgrass Expressway (869) and SR 7 (441).
Construction is expected to last between 12 and 14 months and is expected to open in 3rd Quarter 2013. The City of Coconut Creek has expressed excitement over this project being that it is the first, as well as the economic impact it will bring.
According to Seth Fellman, President of Morlin Hospitality Group, “A site analysis provided us with information that there is significant demand in the area, which is largely underserved”
