Follow on Google News | New meetings and events venue launched at The Chester GrosvenorThe Gallery unveiled at five star hotel in Chester in time for 2012
By: The Chester Grosvenor Recently refurbished The Gallery has been transformed by interior designer Jane Goff and is situated on the first floor landing of the hotel under the famous Georgian chandelier. Tables with sofas and armchairs to seat up to 15 people, complimentary wifi and daily newspapers are provided for guests and delegates using The Gallery. The new venue is situated adjacent to the state-of-the- Joanna Schrenk, senior events coordinator, said: “The Gallery is another wonderful addition to what we can offer event planners when organizing a conference, board meeting or teambuilding day. “We expect it will be used for small business meetings or by delegates as a syndicate space or relaxation area. “As a venue it’s unique. After all how many meeting spaces are there with a chandelier with 28,000 crystals weighing half a ton, hanging overhead?” A light bites menu with waiter service is available in The Gallery. In addition to the new venue The Chester Grosvenor is offering event bookers 50% off accommodation for six weeks in the New Year. While the hotel has a new multi-million pound kitchen fitted between January 14 and March 2, 2012, delegates will be able to enjoy a stay at The Chester Grosvenor at half the usual price Sunday to Thursday. Mrs Schrenk said: “If you’ve never experienced what The Chester Grosvenor has to offer for meetings, events and conferences this is a golden opportunity. “For just six weeks delegates will be able to experience five star luxury at an unbeatable price. Our meetings and events facilities are second to none and it will be business as usual while the kitchen is refurbished.” # # # The Chester Grosvenor is a five star property featuring 80 individually styled rooms and suites and a luxury spa, in addition to the Michelin-starred ‘Simon Radley at The Chester Grosvenor’ restaurant and the award-winning La Brasserie.
