Though, the other associates have approved to agree to the recommendatory position. When make contact with, one of the associate said on provision of ambiguity that he was despondent over the recommendatory role in the board and the PCB should not have mentioned this in its official press release which sort of disparages the ex-players. The authorities had to mention to maintain the strong bond with the Pakistan cricket lovers. He said "We accepted the assignment as a good gesture and with a spirit to contribute something towards improvement of domestic structure." The official PCB press release states. "The body will have a recommendatory role and the recommendations will not be binding on PCB. They will assist the PCB in evaluating the domestic cricket and its problems". This altogether will work in the benefit of the Pakistan cricket, hence improving its skills and standards to meet up the challenges of the future played matches. The affiliate did not contradict the notion that big names had been incorporated in the Task Team merely to reduce any censure from them in future, a conventional style of the PCB to oppose censure. The press release additionally added "Chairman PCB, Zaka Ashraf, has approved to constitute a Task Team to give suggestions to PCB for the improvement of Domestic Cricket in Pakistan. The Task Team will study and review the existing structure of domestic cricket considering its weaknesses and strengths and will propose any changes if they feel that is required. The body will meet and deliberate at times and places of their convenience. They will meet as many times as they consider appropriate to undertake the study and review," "The task team will submit its recommendations to the PCB within two months of its formulation. The Task Team comprises Intikhab Alam (chairman), Javed Miandad, Zaheer Abbas, Sarfraz Nawaz, Imtiaz Ahmed, Moin Khan, and Iqbal Qasim.
