Bonavita Launches SCAA Certified Coffee Makers in US

Dec. 27, 2011 - PRLog -- Richmond, VA - The Specialty Coffee Association of America (SCAA) has certified the two models of Bonavita coffee makers, which are now available in the US. Bonavita is one of only four manufacturers worldwide to be awarded the designation of Certified Brewing Equipment under the SCAA’s rigorous testing process.

These German engineered coffee makers are available in two models, an 8-cup glass carafe (BV1800) or an 8-cup stainless steel carafe (BV1800TH). Both models have a 1400-watt thermal block heater that achieves the proper water temperature quickly, a showerhead designed for complete saturation, and a stainless steel finish that compliments today’s kitchens. Model BV1800 (glass carafe) has a separate 55-watt heater to keep the brewed coffee at an ideal temperature, and an automatic shut-off after two hours. Suggested retail price for the BV1800 is $149.99 and for the BV1800TH $169.99.
