With the increasing search volume occurring from mobile devices (36% of Google search is mobile) small businesses are trying to transition into this new landscape of Internet Marketing. The Kellsey Group recently indicated that 40% of all mobile search includes a geographic term and those terms are at the heart of Local Search. Recent comscore numbers indicate that almost 50% of all emergency repair services are now being done on a mobile device.
These new mobile websites are also critical for any small business spending money on PPC campaigns with Google as an average savings of 50% is being reported on mobile cost per click versus desktop cost per click.
"We want to continue giving our small business clients a competitive advantage in the Local Search landscape by continuing to offer the most cutting edge internet marketing products available" said Vincent DeCastro, Senior SEO Analyst with Search Nearby. "Having a mobile version of your website combined with our Google Places Optimization and Local SEO services will keep our clients ahead of their competition and keep their phones ringing".
