Gloria Grehl Honored With Two Toastmasters International Annual Awards

Dec. 27, 2011 - PRLog -- Orlando resident Gloria Grehl, DTM received two distinguished awards from Toastmasters International on December 8, 2011 at Vista Toastmasters’ annual awards banquet: the “District 84 VP Public Relations of the Year 2010-2011” and Vista Toastmasters Club’s “Toastmaster of the Year 2011.”

Out of almost 200 candidates, the “District 84 VP Public Relations of the Year” award is given to the Club VP PR who has met and exceeded all the monthly media and project challenges and maintained excellence in communications. Nancy Hoehn, Past District 84 Public Relations Officer, was in attendance to make the special District presentation. District 84 is composed of 190 Toastmaster clubs in Central and North Florida.

Vista Toastmasters Southwest Orlando bestows the honor of the “Toastmaster of the Year Award” upon the Toastmaster who the members feel has served the club above and beyond their regular responsibilities. In order to be nominated, the member must exhibit dedication, attend meetings regularly, serve as a club officer and participate actively in club and District activities. Gloria has served as VP Public Relations for the club since January 2011 and also has been active as a trainer for the District.
