Louis Dreyfus -Kencana Agri Joint Venture Firm Chooses JustCommodity to Manage Trading

PRLog (Press Release) - Jan. 17, 2012 - Singapore (December 23, 2011) – JustCommodity Software Solutions, the leading solution provider of Commodity Trading and Risk Management (“CTRM”) software solutions, announced today that PT Dermaga Kencana Indonesia (“DKI”) has selected ContraXcentral™ to manage its trading and risk operations.

DKI is a joint venture between Louis Dreyfus Commodities Asia Pte Ltd., a subsidiary of commodity giant Louis Dreyfus Commodities Group (“LDCG”), and Singapore Exchange listed Kencana Agri Limited (SGX: F9M). Initially, the deal was entered into to allow Kencana Agri to leverage on LDCG’s substantial experience in commodities as well as its expertise as one of the top commodity port operators in the world – whilst LDCG was able to secure the land required and enjoy cost savings through the shared construction cost of the port facilities.

The company is witnessing growing trade volumes and the associated complexity of trades that follow. DKI also expects to commission a new refinery facility in Balikpapan by the end of 2012 which will also utilize JustCommodity’s ContraXcentral™ solution.
