Ms. Bracher is the Director of Litigation for the Risk Management Department of U.S. Xpress, Inc., a Chattanooga, TN based transportation company. She received her Bachelors of Arts degree in Political Science from Emory University (1989), and her Masters in Public Administration (1994) and Juris Doctor (1997) degrees from the University of Cincinnati. After law school, Ms. Bracher practiced with the law firm of Miller & Martin PLLC in Chattanooga, focusing her practice on railway transportation, commercial, and products liability litigation. She joined U.S. Xpress, Inc. in 2006, as in-house counsel, where she works closely with outside defense counsel to represent the Company, including affiliate companies Xpress Global Systems, Inc., Arnold Transportation Services, Inc. and Total Transportation of Mississippi, LLC, at various stages of pre-litigation and litigation. Ms. Bracher’s responsibilities include oversight of all claims in litigation and involvement in high risk catastrophic claims to assist with evidence preservation.
The CLM conference will be one of the largest, fully inclusive defense industry conferences in 2012. It will be held March 28-30 in San Diego, California where more than 80 collaborative educational sessions featuring more than 300 speakers are scheduled and is expected to draw attendees from around the world.
