Suburban Bank & Trust Secret Santas Spread Christmas Joy

PRLog (Press Release) - Dec. 22, 2011 - Suburban Bank & Trust (SBT) and its employees are making this holiday especially bright for three local families affiliated with PACT, Inc., a local service organization that annually serves more than 6,000 individuals with disabilities. Families who are struggling financially in meeting the needs of their disabled family member along with their daily living expenses are eligible to participate in PACT Inc.’s holiday gift program.

Beginning in late November, employees of SBT embarked on a mission to make holiday dreams come true as they fulfilled on the wish lists of the three PACT families. SBT employees collected cash, bought gift cards, and “adopted” family members to shop for. On Friday, December 16, representatives from PACT arrived at SBT with two vans that they filled with wrapped gifts and gift cards for each of the families. On hand to present the gifts were: SBT Chairman of the Board, Blanche E. Hill; Elmhurst Market Manager, Angela Villegas; Sue Petry, Dana Custardo, Yolanda Coleman, and Senior Vice President/Trust (and PACT, Inc. board member), Alyne Polikoff.

2011 marks the third year SBT has participated in PACT Inc.’s holiday gift program. “The PACT holiday program is something our employees have really embraced,” said Patti Greco, Director of Human Resources for SBT. “Everyone is eager to participate and we all feel great doing something nice for these families by providing basic things like clothing or a set of sheets, and making sure the children have some fun gifts to open at Christmas.” Greco coordinated the effort for SBT along with Mrs. Villegas.
