ZMDI’s Smart Power Management Solutions with PMBUSTM facilitates these functions and packs the added punch of some of the best transient performance on the market today.

ZMDI offers a complete chipset or single-chip solutions for advanced point of load applications. The chipset, consisting of advanced point of load controller IC and DrMOS integrated driver and power MOSFET offers high efficiency from light load to steady state and best-in-class transient performance.  

The ZSPM1000 is a configurable true-digital single-phase PWM controller for high-current, non-isolated DC/DC supplies. It operates as a synchronous step-down converter in a single-rail and single-phase configuration. The ZSPM1000 integrates a digital control loop, optimized for maximum flexibility and stability, as well as load step and steady-state performance. In addition, a rich set of protection and monitoring functions is provided.

The ZSPM9000 DrMOS is the ideal companion to ZMDI’s ZSPM1000 for non-isolated Point-of-Load (POL) supplies. An internal linear regulator enables the ZSPM9000 to operate from a single supply.

The PC based ZMDI Pink Power DesignerTM design optimizer tool provides a user-friendly and easy-to-use interface to the device for communication and configuration. It balances design trade-offs such as cost, size and efficiency and helps to quickly identify the optimal POL solution.
