Jordan Gaming Taskforce Creates Gaming Lab for App Developers with Support from BlackBerry

Jordan Gaming Taskforce today announced that they are teaming up with Research In Motion (RIM), the maker of BlackBerry® smartphones, to open a Gaming Lab for application developers in the Amman Business Park.

Jordan Gaming Taskforce today announced that they are teaming up with Research In Motion (RIM), the maker of BlackBerry® smartphones, to open a  game development compeition for application developers in the Amman Business Park. RIM will provide training and development tools, BlackBerry smartphones and BlackBerry® PlayBook™ tablets to local app developers working in the Gaming Lab.

Maysalward, a leading Middle East mobile developer and publisher of mobile games, will staff the Gaming Lab as a technical partner, providing guidance and technical support for app developers working on the BlackBerry platform.

Nour Khrais, Chairman of the Gaming Taskforce as well as Founder and CEO of Maysalward, said: “We are proud to have RIM as a partner in the Gaming Lab, helping Lab users learn about and develop applications for the BlackBerry platform.  Access to tools, devices and training are key to the development of exciting new apps for BlackBerry smartphones and PlayBook tablets.”
