CB VATAmerica launches the European Aviation Fuel Tax Advisor app

PRLog (Press Release) - Dec. 22, 2011 - Princeton, New Jersey, USA -- CB VATAmerica recently launched the European Aviation Fuel Tax Advisor app for iPad^®, iPhone^®, iPod^®, and Android^™ devices. The free app is part of CB VATAmerica’s continued efforts to help business aircraft operators eliminate European VAT and excise taxes on fuel as a competitive burden. As such, users of this tool will likely find it helpful in identifying opportunities to reduce the cost of operating their aircraft into Europe.

The European Aviation Fuel Tax Advisor is the only app available that enables users to calculate the standard VAT and fuel excise tax that may be incurred as a result of operating aircraft into Europe. In addition, the tool provides information concerning opportunities for exemptions and the refundability of these taxes. Users can select the country of fuel uplift (all 27 EU countries plus Norway and Switzerland), the operator’s home country, operator type, amount of fuel uplifted (in litres or gallons), and the fuel cost in local currency. The app will return results showing the taxes (VAT and ET/MOT) that may be included on a fueler’s invoice as well as identify whether these taxes can be exempted or refunded.

The free European Aviation Fuel Tax Advisor app is now available on the App Store as well as in Android Market. A web based version will soon be available on the CB VATAmerica website.
