Bootstrap America Salutes Freedom New Hampshire

Dec. 21, 2011 - PRLog -- Wednesday is" Wacky, Usual and Interesting American Town and City Names" at Bootstrap America www.bootstrapamerica.net.  This week Bootstrap America salutes Freedom New Hampshire.

Freedom New Hampshire is a small town with a population 1,489. How appropriate it is that the city of Freedom is in a state whose motto is Live Free or Die.  The story goes that the town earned its’ name following a conflict between settlers on religion and culture which led those in North Effingham to break off and free themselves from the rest of the area by incorporating their own town and naming it “Freedom” (as they were free from the dispute and possible demands of converting).

Bootstrap America's Sophia Vander has been fortunate to have vacationed in Freedom over the years and finds it a beautiful place with relaxed and welcoming people.  For those in Freedom New Hampshire she proudly salutes you.
