A team of people from Precision Roof Contractors, headed up by Jeremy Collins, dropped off collection bags to residents in the Piper Glen and Bridgehampton communities on Tuesday, December 6, 2011. The friendly homeowners kindly filled the bags with as many non-perishable canned food items as they could, resulting in over 300 pounds of donated food from more than 50 homes. Collins returned to pick up the newly filled bags on December 15, 2011, when he delivered them directly to the Second Harvest Food Bank.
“We were honored to have the opportunity to give families a taste of the comforts we enjoy in our everyday lives, especially for the children who have suffered the most” explains Collins. “We hope our efforts with Second Harvest Food Bank help to spread some extra love and happiness throughout the Charlotte community during this joyous holiday season.”
