Colliers International | Oklahoma Recent Industrial Transactions

Dec. 21, 2011 - PRLog -- Oklahoma City, Okla., (Dec. 13, 2011) – Taurian East LLC has purchased the Joyco Building located at 2640 W. Reno in Oklahoma City from Arthur L. Burkey for $550,000.

The industrial showroom property is approximately 13,500 square feet and sits on 2.5 acres. Edwards Mail Service plans to operate their business from the facility in 2012. Edwards Mail Service is a transportation company that primarily contracts with the U.S. Postal Service to haul mail and equipment.

“We’ve been in the industry for thirty years,” Vice President and CFO Chuck Edwards said. “We’ve had routes through Oklahoma for a while, and we are excited to open our first facility here.”

James Durocher with Colliers International represented both parties in the transaction. Jackie Hatton with Oklahoma City Abstract and Title handled the closing.

Colliers Oklahoma also recently teamed up with Colliers’ Long Island office to facilitate the lease of a 9,000 +/- square foot flex space in Tulsa.

Colliers represented the tenant, MSC Industrial Supply Company, in the 5-year lease. The building is located at 11022 E. 51st St., Tulsa, OK.
