UPES announces engineering entrance examination

Dec. 21, 2011 - PRLog -- Dehradun: University of Petroleum and Energy Studies is announcing engineering aptitude test (UPESEAT). It is going to take place on 19th May, 2012 from 9.30 AM to 12.30 PM and the last date for submitting the applications is 28th April, 2012.

This program is called as Bachelor in technology and aims to develop analytical and decision making skills among students. The objective also lays in enhancing student’s imagination and creative though process. The entrance examination is open for all specializations such as chemical engineering, geo informatics engineering, computer science engineering, automotive design engineering, aerospace engineering and much more.

In order to be eligible for exam, you need sixty percent in matriculation and intermediate. At the intermediate level, one needs to have physics, chemistry and maths on a mandatory basis. The locations of the entrance examinations are Chennai, Bangalore, Kolkata, Lucknow and others. Some of the other specializations involve infrastructure engineering, mechatronics engineering, power system engineering and much more.
