Dana Curtis is a private mediator with expertise in elder disputes. A graduate of Santa Clara University School of Law, Curtis started her career as law clerk in the California Supreme Court. She subsequently was in private practice as a lawyer and mediator in addition to being a full time court mediator for the US Court of Appeals 9th Circuit. Curtis has trained mediators at Stanford Law School, Appellate Courts in Minnesota, Arizona, Hawaii, and Nevada, the law school of the University of Rome and Santa Clara University. She will discuss the use of mediation to solve disputes of elder care, finances, and legal matters.
Rounding out the show is Norm Tomaka, a consulting pharmacist with the American Pharmacists Association. Tomaka will address the risks involved in ordering medicine over the internet.
