Zach Callison in the upcoming new Disney Show "Sophia The First"

Dec. 24, 2011 - PRLog -- Meet Disney’s newest prince: Zach Callison!


Zach will be playing Prince James, step-brother to Sofia (Ariel Winter) in the newest Disney animated TV series “Sofia The First”.  Along with Zach and Ariel Winter from Modern Family, "Grey's Anatomy" star Sara Ramirez as their mom, Queen Miranda, "Let's Make a Deal" host Wayne Brady as a clever rabbit named Clover and "Project Runway" fashion guru Tim Gunn voicing Baileywick, the Royal Steward.


Sofia, is a little girl with a commoner's background until her mom marries the King and suddenly she is royalty. Sofia and her mom then pack up and move to the royal castle, where her fancy, glamorous new life includes frilly frocks and Amber and James, her new stepbrother and stepsister. With the help of the three fairies in charge of the Royal Training Academy and her new siblings, Sofia learns that looking like a princess isn't all that hard but behaving like one must come from the heart.


"Sofia" will debut on the Disney Channel and Disney Junior, the daytime block of programming that will launch as its own cable channel early in 2012. Disney Junior is aimed at the 2-7-year-old age group.

Some of Zach's on-camera work has been:  Hannah Montana, I'm In The Band, Perfect Couples, and Land of the Lost.  And some of Zach's voice-work includes: Avatar, The Legend of Korra, Adventures in Odyssey, Scooby-Doo Mystery, Inc.,  and Captain Marvel.
