Cognitive Medical Systems secures HUBZone certification

Valid for three years, the federal small business designation will help their primary contractor partners meet stringent requirements to sub out some of their work out to them.

The U.S. Small Business Administration’s HUBZone program helps small businesses in urban and rural communities gain preferential access to federal procurement opportunities. This status goes to small businesses that obtain the certification in part by employing staff who live in a HUBZone. The company must also maintain a "principal office" in one of these specially designated areas.
