Mindfire Solutions attends OSI Days 2011

Dec. 20, 2011 - PRLog -- 25th Nov, 2011, Bhubaneswar: Mindfire Solutions attended Asia's largest open source conference i.e. OSI Days held at NIMHANS Center, Bengaluru from 20th - 22nd November, 2011. Mindfire sponsored some of its open source team members to attend this mega event and, utilized the opportunity to learn latest developments and trends in the open source arena and also interact with peers and great brains in the industry from all over the country.

The OSI Days 2011 aimed to promote the usage of open source platforms and tools for the software development methodology. This three day event saw a number of participants from all over the world, with eminent speakers imparting knowledge through various interesting sessions. Some of the eminent speakers present were: Zeev Suraski (CTO, Zend Technologies), Gianugo Rabellino (Sr. Director, Microsoft Corporation), Sebastian Bergmann (Creator, PHPUnit & Co-Founder, thePHP.cc), Gil Yehuda (Yahoo Inc) and many more. Some of the interesting sessions during the event were Beware of the dark side, Luke, Building PHP Apps using Eclipse to run on Windows Azure, Building Private/Hybrid Clouds with Open Source Software, Building SOAP and RESTful Web Services with Silex. There were other similar sessions which also attracted a lot of participants. These sessions were interactive and focused primarily on the future use of open source technologies.

A team of open source experts from Mindfire Solutions attended the OSI Days’ 2011 conference. Premananda Das, a senior PHP Developer was a part of this conference.
