Outlook Foundation Receives Donation of Over $70,000 in Computer Hardware from CDW

Dec. 20, 2011 - PRLog -- LAS VEGAS - The Outlook Foundation, a non-profit organization created to refurbish and repurpose computers, providing them to under resourced children as well as U.S. service personnel, recently received a donation of computer hardware valued at more than $70,000 from technology solutions provider CDW. The donation included numerous server processors quad core, server processors dual core, and desktop processors dual core, as well as a variety of peripherals, such as keyboards, DVD drives, and desktop, server, and laptop memory modules.

Joel Paa, Configuration Center Supervisor for CDW, at their local facility in North Las Vegas presented the donation. CDW is a reseller of computer hardware, software and supplies, and is headquartered in Vernon Hills, Illinois. Along with its warehouse-attached showroom in Illinois, CDW takes orders from its catalog via mail order, telephone and the Internet. In early 2006, CDW opened a 513,000-square-foot distribution center in North Las Vegas.
