Brittany Murphy’s Hair to be Tested for Toxins

Dec. 20, 2011 - PRLog -- Beverly Hills, CA - December 20, 2011 marks the two year anniversary of Brittany Murphy’s tragic death. Having exhausted all other venues, Brittany’s father, Angelo Bertolotti is about to ask the CA Superior Court for an order to have the star’s hair tested for toxic substances, including heavy metals. “I’ve paid for the preservation of Brittany’s hair and tissues to make sure they’re finally tested. Otherwise, they would have been destroyed. Now I’m in the process of taking this matter to court, asking for all specimens to be released for independent examination. I’m not going to rest until my daughter’s untimely demise is properly investigated,” remarked Mr. Bertolotti.

2012 promises to unravel the mystery of Brittany’s death. Fleur De Lis Film Studios recently announced an upcoming book, “Britt” that is being co-written by Brittany’s father, Angelo Bertolotti and Julia Davis. Davis, who worked for the Department of Homeland Security, believes that the deaths of Brittany Murphy and her husband Simon Monjack were never properly investigated. Both husband and wife allegedly died of pneumonia and anemia. “We spoke to the lead detective who handled Brittany’s case, who informed us that the LAPD and the Los Angeles County Coroner's office neither tested, nor ever intended to test Brittany’s or Simon’s hair for toxins and heavy metals. These two deaths were simply written off to natural causes, but there is nothing natural about two young people dying five months apart in the same house. We will keep moving forward to get all the tests independently conducted. Brittany didn’t deserve the treatment she got in the latter part of her life, or the complete disregard for her death exhibited by the authorities charged with investigating it. Brittany deserves better,” said Davis, "and we’ll keep fighting for justice.”  

"The official version of the events is much different from reality,” asserts Angelo Bertolotti. “They closed the case without giving Brittany a second thought. I’m about to take this matter to court, because having my daughter discarded and disregarded this way is unacceptable. The truth will come out, whatever it takes.”

Brittany Murphy’s life turned out to be stranger than lives of fictional characters she played onscreen. Missing details about her last days are yet to be unveiled, explaining once and for all why the colors of Brittany’s life that sparkled with endless potential have been extinguished with a fade to black.
