Follow on Google News | Raleigh LASIK Surgeon Wants to Make Patients HappyWith a desire to provide the highest quality patient care, the team at Raleigh Eye Center wants to be held accountable for the care each LASIK or PRK patient receives while at their office.

We want to know if we’ve done a good job or if there are areas we can improve upon.” As a practice that prides itself on delivering quality patient care for life, the Raleigh Eye Center delivers a unique package to its’ LASIK patients. “Our patients typically see us for not only their LASIK or PRK procedure, they also see us for their post-operative visits and then for subsequent annual eye exams” stated Kelley Malin, LASIK Coordinator at Raleigh Eye Center. “We want them to be just as thrilled with us the first visit as they are the 20th.” Today’s patients are busier than ever. Asking people to take the time to share their feedback for any business can be challenging. The average person is more likely to share their negative feedback than their positive. People want to know what others experience was like. They want to know what they can expect to experience when their time comes. This is even more important with medical procedures such as LASIK and PRK. To help incentivize patients to take the time to share their feedback, Raleigh Eye Center has started a monthly contest where patients who share their experience are entered into a drawing for a $100 American Express gift card. Patients can share their story on Raleigh Eye Center’s Facebook page. They can then double or triple their chances of winning by adding their experience to the center’s Citysearch and Google pages. The contest had a brief life during the summer and fall months of 2011 but was stopped recently after a few months. The contest has officially restarted with its next drawing occurring on February 1, 2012. The first winner of 2012 will be drawn from those who shared their review in December 2011 or January 2012. The team at Raleigh Eye Center is hoping for more patient involvement. “We know our patients are busy” stated Dr. Kiley. “Regardless of the feedback, we want our LASIK and PRK patients to be comfortable enough to share their thoughts with potential patients as well as with us. The five minutes it takes to share a review can help potential patients understand more about my refractive surgery practice.
