PPG general manager Kevin Stephens said Aimar Group had been appointed new PPG members representing Guatemala, Belize, Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama.
“Aimar Group offers excellent regional transportation coverage throughout Central America and has extensive experience servicing these markets,” Mr Stephens said.
“PPG members will be able to connect through Aimar’s global gateways, with the support of the company’s modern logistics technology and quality control systems.”
The Aimar Group was founded in 1991 as a shipping agency in Guatemala, El Salvador and Costa Rica, then expanded throughout Central America, under the Aimar name.
The company operates independent offices in each country (Belize, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama), with financial controls and reporting systems centralized through their headquarters in Guatemala City, Guatemala.
