LSPA and ACEDS Form Strategic Alliance to Extend CEDS E-Discovery Certification and Cost Savings

Dec. 19, 2011 - PRLog -- DENVER –  The Legal Service Providers Association, the only organization dedicated to the growth and promotion of service providers in the legal industry, and the Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists (ACEDS), which issues the Certified E-Discovery Specialist (CEDS) certification to qualified candidates, have reached an agreement to extend to legal service providers significant savings on CEDS certification for their staffs and similar benefits to LSPA corporate members concerning ACEDS services.

Under the partnership, LSPA members will receive courtesy discounts on the CEDS certification program, including the online and live CEDS Live Examination Preparation Seminar. LSPA Charter Members will also have the right to a reduced rate to become ACEDS Affiliate Members, a type of “corporate” level membership similar to that offered by LSPA.

As part of the understanding between LSPA and ACEDS, the 42 present ACEDS Affiliate Members will be eligible for LSPA Charter Membership at a discounted rate.

“By partnering with ACEDS, we are making the path to the highly-respected CEDS e-discovery certification more accessible to our members,” said Jerry Correia, the co-founder of LSPA. “This is a milestone in our ongoing effort to create and share valuable relationships and expertise with our members.”
