Xybion Announces New ECM Connections for eQCM

eQCM, a comprehensive, quality, risk management and governance system, now links with Enterprise Content Management systems.

Dec. 19, 2011 - PRLog -- Xybion Corporation announced their powerful quality, risk management and governance system, eQCM, now has the capability to quickly and seamlessly link with major enterprise content management systems, SharePoint, Documentum and OpenText.   The Content Connect feature allows organizations to identify and link appropriate documents across multiple disparate repositories to specific actions or processes within the eQCM solution.  eQCM is designed to facilitate the controlled management and automation of regulatory, quality and compliance based processes.

eQCM is an extremely versatile quality, risk and compliance management platform.  Content Connect allows the user to directly link the related document to the action or task, creating a relationship between the documents housed in the repository of record within the eQCM solution. Content Connect also provides users with visibility to records and the ability to search through multiple repositories simultaneously. Content Connect is designed to work seamlessly with a company’s installed ECM platform(s) through the eQCM Document Management Services module, which is included as part of the core quality and compliance configuration.  This new functionality expands the value and operational efficiencies of eQCM  by allowing the user to maintain all mission critical documentation in its native regulatory compliant environment while clearly identifying the relationship to the quality and compliance process.

Based on the CMIS standard, Content Connect currently supports SharePoint 2010, OpenText, Documentum, with more systems expected in the coming months. Content Connect allows users with a single location to consolidate, view and take action on information across multiple content platforms simultaneously.

eQCM with Content Connect  enhances regulatory compliance through the integration of Quality, Governance, Risk and Compliance processes with the ECM system of record.  Content from any repository can be linked to various eQCM processes (e.g, CAPA, Complaint Management, Nonconformance, Deviations, Change Control, etc.). Organizations will have the ability to perform single audits over content kept in all ECMs and link critical documentation from any of the ECMs to any of the organizational assets (equipment, processes, systems, products, entities, employees, suppliers, etc.) and  compliance items  (programs, risks, controls, objective and targets) . Integration of key business processes with the organization’s document management system reduces errors, increases productivity and provides visibility throughout the enterprise.

“It was our goal to create a GRC (governance, risk & compliance) platform that worked with any installed ECM solutions.” explained Dr. Pradip Banerjee, CEO of Xybion.  “Our ECM approach is agnostic and integrated,   eliminating  redundancies, mitigating  risk and reducing  costs for our clients. This added functionality exhibits Xybion’s innovation and thought leadership in the quality and content management markets”
