Ray Oglethorpe, past president of AOL and board member of The Learning Alliance, praised the hard work of the teachers, who have rallied behind Dr. Fran Adam’s recent goal to have 90% of children reading on grade level by third grade. He remarked, “This is an aggressive goal that has energized the Vero Beach community… There is something magical going on here. Let’s keep the magic going!”
The Learning Alliance is dedicated to dramatically improving student literacy in Indian River County, Florida.
