On Thursday, December 8th, the Colorado Springs Regional Economic Development Corporation (EDC) hosted a luncheon at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort to honor businesses that are adding jobs, expanding operations, or moving to Colorado Springs in 2011.
Mayor Steve Bach and Amy Lathen, Chair of the Board of the El Paso County Commissioners, were in attendance to present an award to each company. Accepting the award for S4 Inc. were Chandu Shah, President and CEO and Jay Davis, Director of Programs for the Colorado Springs Region.
The private, nonprofit EDC estimates the jobs it helped bring to the area in 2011 will have an average annual income of $51,647 and pump nearly $340 million into the local economy over six years. S4’s Colorado Springs Office is focused on providing highly skilled professionals to support NORAD, USNORTHCOM and Air Force Space Command while promoting growth in the COS region.
