A mixture of “Reno 911” and the story telling structure of “Lost” each episode focuses on one of the eight ex-convicts. Through flashbacks, the viewer gets to glimpse into the characters past and current lives. The series finds the humor and the dramatic moments with each character while following through the twists and turns of unexpected connections.
“I really wanted to do something ambitious” says Darrin Yalacki , “Most webseries take place in one or two locations with a small cast. Consequences was shot in over forty locations with a main ensemble of nine actors and over forty recurring actors and guest stars (most coming from iO West). We did it all on a small budget that we raised through kickstarter and I am still amazed that we did it, because it looks like we had more.”
The 10 Episode series launched on November 9, 2011 on http://con-sequences.com, http://blip.tv, http://webserieschannel.com, and as a soft launch for the upcoming webseries channel on http://tvgasm.com. On Wednesday January 11, 2012 the series will premier on http://vbctv.com (Web Entertainment Network) 8:30/7:30c.
“It’s truly amazing to get to work with such a great cast and crew. Ninety Five percent of the cast are improvisers which made the set fun” says the Director Michael May, “Although the script was written, there were many moments that we left it up to the actors to just improvise and those scenes turned out so great!”
Currently Consequences is half way through it's first season with additional content to come including cast interviews, outtakes, behind the scenes and mini-episodes featuring the additional characters and much more.
"We have received amazing feedback regarding the show so far," say Darrin. "We are Editor's pick on webserieschannel.com, commenters on tvgasm are loving the show and overall people are enjoying it. It's such an honor to work such such a great production team, crew and cast. I can't wait to start working on the second season."
