Follow on Google News | Manual Handling Certificate Bridges the Gap in CertificationDr Alistair Bromhead Ltd is proud to introduce a new certification scheme for individuals who are qualified to provide in-house manual handling training.
By: Alistair Bromhead Alistair Bromhead (http://www.abromhead.co.uk) Manual Handling Certification The new Manual Handling Certification scheme allows trainers who’ve successfully completed the Manual Handling Train the Trainer course to gain a further nationally recognised certificate of competence. The scheme will offer a greater incentive to trainers and trainees to work toward an accreditation that is recognised beyond their own workplace. The new Manual Handling Certification will also act as a standardised accreditation which will be recognised by insurers, customers and external regulators. How Will the Scheme Benefit Companies? Companies whose internal manual handling trainers gain the new Manual Handling Certificate could benefit by providing a training and consultancy service to other businesses. The recognisable certification that can be gained by present trainers adds proof of competency and reliability. Fast Track to Certification As the scheme is open to individuals who’ve already completed Manual Handling Train the Trainer courses, much of the paperwork and evidence of workplace competence has already been completed and demonstrated. Therefore, participants on the new scheme can move quickly through much of the course and concentrate on how best they can use their skills to train others. # # # Delivers the 2 day City & Guilds Manual Handling Train the Trainer course which provides the skills, knowledge, techniques, confidence and course material to run your own manual handling training sessions for the safe handling of materials and goods.
