Lakeland Toyota Participates in Local Holiday Food Drive

Dec. 16, 2011 - PRLog -- Lakeland Toyota has teamed up with Lighthouse Ministries for its annual Holiday Food Drive. In addition to collecting food donations this year, Lakeland Toyota is accepting toys for young children as well. The Toyota Dealership is accepting donations and encouraging participation from other businesses in the local area.

As for the Lighthouse Ministries food drive, one Lakeland Toyota Manager stated: "We understand that need is greater this year, and we want to continue to lend a hand to assist those in need. We are proud to continue to support a worthwhile cause, one that serves our local community well."

During the holiday season, interested persons in the Lakeland, Florida area, who would like to make a donation to the needy this year, can visit the Lakeland Toyota Dealership at 1200 W. Memorial Blvd. in Lakeland where a barrel has been set up in the new car showroom to accept donations and gifts.

Paticipation by Lakeland Toyota and other area businesses helps raise food for the 'See the Need, Help Us Feed' Food Box Ministry and provides gifts for needy children. "We're aware that Lighthouse Ministries delivers thousands of food boxes throughout Mid Florida during the holiday season, and we are delighted to participate in their food drive again this year."

Lakeland Toyota is asking for additional donations during the week leading up to the holiday weekend. "Businesses around Lakeland are ready to accept donations this year. We hope for continued support...so hopefully everyone who is able will give this year," continued one Lakeland Toyota Manager.
