The second place winner along with a guest observer will be enjoying a 5-day, big game elk in Utah’s Wasatch Mountains. The winner of the third place prize, along with a friend, will be embarking on a 4-day fishing adventure at Costa Rica’s Crocodile Bay lodge. The proceeds from the 2012 Outdoor Adventure Dream Giveaway will benefit wildlife and conservation causes. Both the Paralyzed Veterans Outdoor Recreation Heritage Fund and the Outdoor Adventure Conservation Fund were chosen by WorldCause Foundation to benefit with a grant from the proceeds of this giveaway. WorldCause Foundation is a 501(c)(3) humanitarian organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for all inhabitants of this planet.
The Paralyzed Veterans Outdoor Recreation Heritage Fund provides our seriously injured heroes opportunities to enrich their lives through adaptive sports and outdoor recreational activities.
The newly created Outdoor Adventure Conservation Fund is administered by a group of outdoor industry leaders and focuses on providing vital grass roots funding for causes that support youth wildlife and conservation education, encourage outdoor participation and facilitate wildlife conservation through habitat restoration and other efforts.
