NFL Week 15 – Inspin has released its exclusive 3 FREE Picks

inspin.com writer Dan Leach looks at three NFL games this weekend and has released his picks.

PRLog - Dec. 16, 2011 - The intensity of the games is reaching a fever pitch. This is where the rubber meets the road and this week’s picks are laser focused. Visit http://www.inspin.com for more details.

Pick #1

Green Bay Packers (13-0, 7-0 away) vs. Kansas City Chiefs (5-8, 2-4 home).
The Inspin Simulator made the spread on this game Packers -10-110. There is value betting the Chiefs at +14.5 or better. This is an Inspin.com 2-Star FREE pick.

The Chiefs will face the Packers this weekend with a new head coach calling the shots. Todd Haley was fired after a very tough 37-10 loss to the New York Jets which dropped Kansas City to 5-8 on the year. He has been replaced on an interim basis with Romeo Crennel who assumed all duties this past week.

Crennel wants to start either Orton or Stanzi in place of the ineffective Tyler Palko.  He will also continue to run the defense in order to keep a little continuity as they finish out the season.

Change is good in the NFL and I feel players will respond this weekend to the new head coach. Crennel said he is interested in turning this into a permanent head coach position. How can he accomplish that? Easy, by WINNING.  “I would like to be a head coach again and show that I can get it done.” Said Crennel, who was 24-40 in four seasons with the Browns. “I know how to get it done, and I think the experience from the first time will make me better the next time around.”

The line is listed on this game Packers -13.5-110. However, 90+% of the betting action has been on the favorite, so wait until this game goes up to -14 or better.

Expect the Chiefs to come out at home re-energized. It’s been a difficult season filled with injuries and disappointment, but this weekend will be different. They will play hard enough to impress their new interim coach and do just enough to cover the 14.5 point spread vs. a Packers team more interested in staying healthy than undefeated. Take the +14.5 and bank it this weekend at Arrowhead.

Pick #2

Carolina Panthers (4-9, 2-4 away) vs. Houston Texans (10-3, 5-1 home).
The Inspin NFL Simulator made the point spread on this game Texans -3-110. There is value betting the Panthers at +7-110 or better. This is an Inspin.com 2-Star FREE pick.

The Houston Texans are on cloud nine right now after locking up the first playoff spot in franchise history. What does that mean for this weekend? It means LETDOWN.

Take a look at the 49ers game last weekend for a little perspective on this situation. San Francisco locked up a playoff spot the week before and what happened next? They lost 21-19 to the 5-7 Cardinals. Letdown after such an emotional win happens with young, inexperienced teams. The same will happen this weekend with the Texans.

Houston Defensive guru, Wade Philips, will be absent for the first time all season. This will have an impact on players who will be lethargic after locking up that elusive playoff spot. Also, I am not 100% sold on T.J. Yates, who has not proven he can be consistent week in and week out. Expect a ‘Texas-size’ letdown of epic proportions. Panthers +7-110 are a LIVE dog so bet ‘em and bank ‘em this weekend at Reliant Stadium.

Pick #3

Tennessee Titans (7-6, 3-3 away) vs. Indianapolis Colts (0-13, 0-6 home).

The Inspin Simulator made the spread on this game Titans -3-110. There is value betting the Colts at +7.5-110 or better. This is listed on the Inspin.com website as a 2-Star Free Pick.

The Colts have started quarterback, Dan Orlovsky, and have covered ATS the past two games.

Bookmakers make odds based on statistics which works for the most part. However, there are situations and intangibles that often come into play which can generate good value when betting. This game is the perfect example of those intangibles.

The Colts DO NOT want to become the second team in NFL history to lose all 16 games in a single season. Players have pride and it is embarrassing for this team to be the laughing stock of the NFL after so many seasons at the top.

"Losing (stinks), no matter what it is," Orlovsky said. "Whether it's football, if it's rock-paper, none of us like to lose. There's nothing fun about losing."

Colts coach Jim Caldwell said, "We need to find a way to get our team better so we can get a victory. And not just one. We're running out of time."

Expect a spirited Colts team to show-up this weekend at home. The players are angry and this is their last opportunity for a much-needed home win this season. The ‘Suck for Luck’ is all but guaranteed and they can now focus on winning at least one game. Tennessee may have to go with Locker this weekend if Hasselbeck’s calf injury doesn’t improve.

If he does play, he will not be 100% and the Colts will benefit either way. Take the +7.5-110 on the Colts at Wagerweb.com. Indianapolis is a live dog the rest of the season so bank ‘em this weekend at Lucas Oil Stadium.
