Foreword

[This is] a collection of poetry written by Jodde Maree, that in many ways has me totally ever so proud to have in this day and age not only read same, but to have my very faith restored in the knowing [that the capability of] writers of poetry and poets, as once long ago, still lives with all the once brilliance in their own styles [and] that they demonstrate every time they put pen to paper their very own way of seeing deeply within all they wrote of.

Jodde Maree not only has a very unique style of her own, but her poems all romantically hold hands as they make their way from one to the other in the most beautiful and the most wonderful way, with each and every one on its own being every bit as enchanting as the others. I adore her work and after almost a lifetime of my writing poetry, songwriting and book [writing] as well as being involved over all that time in many poetic organizations and associations regarding the written word - I find her work so wonderful.

This young woman in herself is an extremely old soul and has a poetic vision I often find has long been lost to a degree, over time. Her words are all and more needed to steal hearts and take the reader upon a wonderful journey, and after all [was] said and done - I find her work is what her style of writing is and has always been about.
