Sterlite Copper sponsors Rs 3 lakh to install RO equipment at Tiruchendur temple

Dec. 16, 2011 - PRLog -- Thoothukudi: Sterlite Copper has sponsored Rs 3 lakh to install reverse osmosis equipment at Tiruchendur temple here on Monday.

Col.S.Krishnan, General Manager – Admin & Security handed over a cheque for Rs 3 lakh to Mr.Manikandan, Thakkar, Tiruchendur temple.

The installation of the equipment will be completed within two days and this would take care of the drinking water needs of the devotees at the temple. The machine is expected to produce 2000 litres of purified water every hour which would benefit 500 – 1000 devotees who are having annadhanam at the temple every day.

Mrs.Selvakumari, Office Superintendent, Tiruchendur temple was also present during the event.
