Voting will take place for three weeks in January, with online votes to be combined with the decisions of a select panel of judges to determine the winners. Those winners will be announced the evening of February 2nd during a marvelous Gala dinner, at the Hacienda Tres Rios Resort, to conclude GNEX 2012.
Categories will include the always desirable awards of “Best Timeshare Resort” and “Best Fractional Resort”, with additional classifications covering areas such as management companies, marketing programs, legal services, financial services, design and media awards. New categories have been added such as an expansion of the “Best Developer Partner” category to include nominees from companies with more than 50 employees and also less than 50 employees. Individual awards have been included for sales and marketing professionals, entrepreneurs and the “Best Industry Leader”.
GNEX 2012, slated for January 31st – February 2nd, 2012, at the fabulous Ritz Carlton Cancun in Cancun, Mexico, will discuss the industry from a global viewpoint as resort professionals gather for the first industry event of the year to create business opportunities and develop strategic partnerships. Innovative networking events will be combined with interactive panel discussions and presentations to foster open, and sometimes controversial, discussion on the state of the vacation ownership industry. A networking lounge will be available to give attendees valuable opportunities to conduct business and delegates will also have access to all nightly social events included in their registration in addition to the Perspective Magazine Awards Gala dinner.
