On Dec. 7, 2011 Food for Health donated 32,520 plant-based meals to Feeding America, the nation’s leading hunger-relief charity with a network of more than 200 food banks across the country. Food banks in Missouri and Pennsylvania will distribute this food. On Dec. 9, Food for Health delivered 19,446 pounds of premium entrées to the Utah Food Bank located in Salt Lake City, Utah.
This brings Food for Health’s 2011 donations to $513,786 worth of nutritious food, weighing 69,101 pounds.
