“Eagle Harbor “Raptor” Cabernet Sauvignon Walla Walla 2008 spent an astounding 18 months on its lees, with Remash constantly tasting and evaluating for the entire three years this stuff spent in the barrel. The palate is hallmark Left Bank Cabernet: black berry fruit, black cherry, licorice, lanolin, warm black currants, graphite, abundant minerality, chalk, dried plum, violets, green peppercorn, nutmeg, and loess. The texture shows fine, supple tannins which promise to reward proper aging; I’d estimate 3 – 5 years to hit the prime window. 94 Points,” as quoted by Steve Body, The Pour Fool, Seattle Post Intelligencer
The Malbec 2008 is made from organic grapes from the Gilbert Vineyard in Eastern Washington and will be attractively priced for this event.
