It is there that Bella and her doggy friends, Razz and Misty, meet some mermaids. They are frantic and ask the dogs to rescue their children, who were caught by fishermen.

Bella and Friends: The Great Mermaid Rescue continues when the dogs bring their human masters along to help in the rescue. The dogs and the children discover that a new aquarium is opening in less than a week, so they must quickly find where the mermaid children are being held. Their first rescue attempt is foiled by a sinister man in a black car. It’s up to Bella to rescue the rescuers! They try again with the help of the mermaids’ song, which puts humans to sleep. The dogs rouse the children to save the young mermaids, but when the music stops, the security guards and the man in the black car are chasing them!
