Plantasia's festive fun this weekend

DONKEYS will join the scorpions, snakes and iguanas for a festive party at Plantasia this weekend.

PRLog - Dec. 15, 2011 - DONKEYS will join the scorpions, snakes and iguanas for a festive party at Plantasia this weekend.

Escape the wintery weather and experience a magical Christmas Party at the attraction on Sunday between 5.30pm and 7pm.

New for this year the party will feature Father Christmas, real Christmas nativity donkeys and Elfie the Elf.

Visitors will get a chance to tour Plantasia’s hot house on the Christmas donkeys as well as get involved in a whole host of different activities; visit Santa in his grotto, search for clues high and low in the Christmas trail, face painting and storytelling with the Elfie the Elf.

Graham Thomas, Swansea Council cabinet member for culture, recreation and tourism, said: "A Hallowe' en-themed event at Plantasia a few months ago was a terrific success and this Christmas event will allow people to celebrate the festive season in a spectacular environment."

Tickets cost £4 per person, price includes a small gift for every child.  Additional 50p for donkey rides.

Places must be booked in advance.
