Dec. 14, 2011 - PRLog -- Ventura, CA - Dark Horse Farms, specializing in the development and sales of Show Jumpers and Derby Hunters is currently accepting horses and students for the 2012 competition season.  Offering top quality customized programs geared towards competitive show clientele and horses, with individually tailored training and a la cart services for beginners and prospects, through grand prix and hunter derby levels.

Conveniently located only minutes from the beach and downtown Ventura on the 3500 acre Canada Larga Ranch, which features two lit covered arenas, a jumping arena, dressage court, round pen, turnouts, beautiful barns and fifty miles of private riding trails.

Maintaining a show schedule consisting of one or two USEF 'A' rated competitions a month, Dark Horse Farms offers multiple opportunities to promote horses, clients, sponsors and the sport of show jumping. Professional rider and trainer Lisa Ciesniewski brings to the team over twenty-seven years experience in the hunter jumper industry as a catch rider, competitor and equine sales agent.

Owners of eligible show horses should contact Dark Horse Farms at their earliest convenience as spaces are limited. Quality consignment horses are also welcome and will benefit from the teams extensive sales network and professional marketing program.
